A.J. Moorehead is currently an adjunct faculty member at the prestigious Harvard-Westlake School. He has been working one-on-one with high school students since 2004 and has been a college instructor since 2009.  His clients have matriculated to Princeton, Yale, Columbia, the University of Chicago, UCLA, NYU, Brown, UC-Berkeley, UT-Austin, Ann Arbor, Juilliard, Penn, Stanford, Georgetown, George Washington and received "full-ride" and full tuition scholarships to many other top-tier institutions.

A.J. is a graduate of The Fulton School of Engineering at Arizona State University (B.S.E. with Honors), The Barrett Honors College, and the Department of Communication at The California State University at Los Angeles (M.A. with Supreme Honors).  At both institutions he was a fixture on the Dean's List and received dozens of awards including:

  • Industrial Engineering Research Assistant, 2004-05
  • Multiple publications
  • John & Helen Butler Scholar, 2002-03
  • Outstanding Achievement by a Graduate Student
  • 8-time national champion in several public speaking events
  • The first undergraduate invited to apply directly to the W.P. Carey MBA program
His high school achievements were of the same caliber.  A.J. was a National Merit Finalist, Flynn Scholar Finalist and AP Scholar who gained admittance to MIT and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.  
 
When he is not teaching, he is a freelance editor.
